Do you ever notice that when we get super busy one of the first things to go is taking care of our bodies?   We are on the run so we eat poorly, grab what is quickest or skip meals all together.   And, fitting exercise into our demanding schedules seems impossible.

If you are like me, it is really important for you to have a life that jibes with your vision of success.   F or me, it is holistic wealth and abundance.   This means success in all aspects of my life:

1. Relationships

2. Physical

3. Career

4. Finances

5. Emotional

6. Mental

7. Social

8. Spiritual

Now, this may seem overwhelming.  How can you possibly tend to all these parts at the same time?  Well, you can’t.  You have to decide what areas of your life are a priority to tend to.

The wonderful thing about working with the Law of Attraction and the other Universal Laws is that you can achieve more, in less time and with less effort when you are truly aligned with your desires.  In that case, we can then tend to more areas of our lives.

In her book “ The Laws of the Universe ”, Christy Whitman describes how many of us go about creating what we want backwards.   We get into the action and doing mode before clearly identifying what we want and getting emotionally aligned with what we want. Or, getting into the feeling place of having what we want.

We can not be Deliberate Creators without clarity and alignment.  What I have also noticed with myself and with my clients is that when we are more aligned in one area of our lives, other areas of our lives seem to line up more easily as well.  When you release a block in one are of your life, you often notice more flow in another area of your life.

Recent research tells us that the best way to slow down the aging process both mentally and physically is through exercise.  In particular, moving our bodies through dance.  I love dancing.  At least, I used to love it.

Given my body pain in the last year and the most recent news about the arthritis in my knees, I have not been in dancing form.  But, I am feeling so much better these days.  I think that I am due!

Exercise is also a natural mood regulator and elevator and is often prescribed to treat Depression.  Treating the body is really about treating the mind.  A good feeling body is by far the greatest factor for maintaining a state of joy and well-being.

A good feeling body promotes positive thoughts and positive thoughts promote a good feeling body.  Working the Universal Laws so they work for you is at its most basic level just about feeling good.  Attracting your vision of success is dependent on feeling good. So next time you decide to skip that workout, ask yourself if the benefits of the next thing on your “to do list” really outweighs the benefits of a good feeling body?

Dancing anyone?
